By downloading, installing, or using PDF Scanner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and PDF Scanner. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

PDF Scanner is a document scanning application that provides: • Document scanning with automatic edge detection • OCR text extraction in 50+ languages • Digital signature creation (draw, type, or scan) • PDF and image editing tools • Document organization and folder management • Export to PDF and JPG formats • Cloud sharing to Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, and more The App is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must NOT: • Use the App to scan, store, or process illegal documents • Forge signatures or create fraudulent documents • Scan documents you do not have authorization to copy • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App • Use automated systems to access the App • Transmit viruses or malicious code • Violate intellectual property rights or copyright laws • Use the App for identity theft or fraud

Ownership: • You retain full ownership of all documents you scan and create • We do not claim any ownership rights to your content • Your documents are stored locally on your device only Responsibility: • You are solely responsible for the documents you scan • You must have the right to scan and copy any document you process • You are responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding document handling Digital Signatures: • Digital signatures created with this app are for convenience only • We make no guarantee about the legal validity of signatures in any jurisdiction • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding electronic signatures

Free Tier: • Basic scanning and document features are free • May include limited scan counts or features Premium Features: • Unlimited scanning and OCR • Advanced export options • Ad-free experience • Priority feature updates • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law • Prices may change with notice In-App Purchases: • All purchases are processed through the App Store/Play Store • Their terms and refund policies apply

App Ownership: • The App, including all code, design, and content, is owned by PDF Scanner • All trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property Restrictions: • You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App • You may not create derivative works • You may not remove any proprietary notices

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including: • Merchantability • Fitness for a particular purpose • Non-infringement • Accuracy of OCR text extraction • Legal validity of digital signatures • Uninterrupted or error-free service We do not guarantee that: • The App will meet your requirements • OCR results will be 100% accurate • Digital signatures will be legally binding • Your scanned documents will never be lost

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months • This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory This includes but is not limited to: • Loss of scanned documents or data • Inaccurate OCR results • Invalid or rejected digital signatures • Business interruption • Loss of profits

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PDF Scanner and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: • Your use of the App • Documents you scan or create • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any rights of another party • Fraudulent use of digital signatures

Termination by You: • You may stop using the App at any time • You may delete the App from your device Termination by Us: • We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for any reason • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately Survival: • Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.
